Malta’s capital city, Valletta, has been voted the Best City in Europe out of 20 shortlisted destinations in the prestigious 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveller.
The annual awards, based on the votes and experiences of thousands of readers worldwide, celebrate destinations that consistently deliver quality, authenticity and memorable travel experiences.
Valletta topped the list with an impressive score of 97.33, followed by Oslo, Norway with 94.36 and Vienna, Austria with 93.75. Rounding out the top 20 was Prague, Czech Republic, which earned a score of 86.94.
