Tens of thousands of people turned up to watch Katy Perry perform at the 18th edition of Isle of MTV Malta last night.
Katy Perry brought her European summer tour to the Fosos for the annual concert, alongside dance music powerhouse Afrojack and Maltese star Aidan.
Isle of MTV is Europe’s largest free summer festival and is staged by MTV in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority. It will premiere across MTV's international networks on 18th September.
Katy Perry delivered a career-spanning run of hits, alongside her new single Watch It Burn.

She often engaged with the audience, using fan cams to beam their faces onto giant screens and squirting ‘sunscreen’ on the front rows.
In a personal moment, she spoke out during an acoustic version of Roar about recently having "lost her roar" before finding it again.
And people got to see the global superstar even closer up than they might have been expecting oversized when she rolled over the crowd in a giant water bottle.
Earlier in the evening, Aidan delighted the home crowd with a hit-filled performance, including new material from his latest album Cowboys Don’t Cry.
Afrojack closed the night with a high-energy set packed with dance floor favourites.
Earlier performances from musicians and DJs including Jamie Cardona and Mychael Bartolo Chircop built the atmosphere throughout the festival, showcasing some of Malta's leading emerging and established talent.
