After more than two decades at the Mayfair Business Centre in St Julian's, EF Language School has relocated to new premises as plans to redevelop the former office building into a four-star hotel move closer to Planning Authority approval.

The school is now operating from the Golden Mile Business Centre in Triq id-Dragunara, a seven-storey office building owned by Exalco, the same company behind the Mayfair Business Centre.

Exalco owns a number of commercial properties across Malta, including the Phoenix Business Centre in Santa Venera and the Marina Business Centre in Ta' Xbiex.

EF began welcoming students to its new campus in June this year. The relocation brings together the school's academic facilities, student residence and exclusive EF Beach Club within walking distance, creating an integrated learning environment close to the seafront.

Occupying four floors, the new campus features modern classrooms, a large auditorium, dedicated dining and study areas, and outdoor terraces overlooking the coastline, reflecting EF's continued investment in its Malta operations.

The Executive Director of EF Malta Carsten Knobloch said, “Malta has evolved into one of EF’s most important year-round destinations, not just because of its climate, but because students can combine affordability with academic progress and quality of life. With this new campus, we are creating a setting where English learning, living and social connection come together in a way that students immediately feel part of.”

EF Malta attracts students from more than 100 nationalities, with a deliberately balanced mix across programmes and age groups. In addition to its language courses, the school is also a Cambridge-accredited exam centre.
