Over the past decade, TradeMalta has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner, supporting Maltese companies in every aspect of their internationalisation journey.
Through its flagship trade missions, targeted funding programmes, market research support, and specialised training initiatives, TradeMalta has empowered hundreds of Malta-based businesses to explore international markets, enhance their capabilities, and grow sustainably beyond Malta’s shores.
As TradeMalta celebrates its 10-year anniversary, it is launching a valuable new resource for the business community: the Malta Exporters Directory. “The aim of the Malta Exporters Directory is to highlight the strengths and capabilities of Maltese companies in the international market. We wanted to ensure that Maltese exporters are easily visible and accessible to potential global partners,” says Josianne Vella, TradeMalta’s Projects and Programmes Manager.
The Malta Exporters Directory is designed to help international traders discover potential partners in Malta across a broad range of sectors – facilitating new connections in today’s increasingly digital and interconnected global marketplace.
“The Malta Exporters Directory offers an intuitive, user-friendly interface for businesses seeking to connect with Maltese counterparts. With just a few clicks, users can easily identify operators across key sectors such as aviation, hospitality, and manufacturing,” explains Ms Vella.
This new directory offers businesses a valuable platform to present their products and services to an international audience in a clear and credible way.
Joining the directory is simple and can be done entirely online through the platform by clicking on ‘list your company’. “Once approved, each company is provided with a dedicated profile page featuring key information – including a company overview, areas of specialisation, and essential contact details,” explains Ms Vella. “This enables businesses to connect directly with potential partners, without the need for subscriptions or monthly fees.”
In a crowded landscape of online directories, the Malta Exporters Directory sets itself apart by offering a specialised platform focused exclusively on businesses engaged in internationalisation.
“We understand that the market for online directories is highly competitive, and businesses are often faced with too many options,” says Ms Vella. “What distinguishes the Malta Exporters Directory is its clear focus on companies that are actively involved in international trade and have a proven track record. This gives prospective partners confidence that reaching out through the directory is a credible and worthwhile use of their time and resources.”
While all listings are thoroughly vetted for accuracy, inclusion in the directory remains completely free – for both listed businesses and users – making it a highly accessible and valuable resource for all parties involved.
“We take this opportunity to invite all local businesses engaged in internationalisation to list their company on the directory,” Ms Vella concludes. “We are committed to continuously invest in this platform to establish it as Malta’s leading specialised directory for internationally focused enterprises.”
