Ryanair has confirmed its Winter 2025 schedule for Malta, with 57 routes in total, including six new destinations and higher frequencies on a further 20.
The new routes will connect Malta to Glasgow, Gothenburg, Luxembourg, Norwich, Newcastle, and Palma, broadening the airline’s reach into both established and emerging markets.
In addition, Ryanair will increase flights on a number of popular existing connections, including Milan, Porto, Bucharest, and London, in a move aimed at improving connectivity during the winter months.
The low-cost carrier has forecast that the updated schedule will raise passenger traffic to more than 5.2 million in 2025, an increase of 15 per cent compared to this year.
To sustain this growth, Ryanair will also add a ninth Boeing 737 aircraft to its Malta base from November, bringing the total value of its investment on the island to over $1 billion. The company estimates that its operations will support over 4,300 jobs, including 30 new positions for pilots and cabin crew.
